White matte satin taffeta; off the shoulder with balloon pouf treatment at shoulder line. Pleated satin taffeta with applique starts the portrait style neckline. Embroidered lace illusion and beaded bodice drapes at cummerbund-styled waistline. Front of ballgown skirt shows lovely center "pineapple" netted inset with beading; two appliques with beaded centers set off this gorgeous inset. Hem is bordered with scalloped alencon lace. Cummerbund wraps around to the back of the gown, and drops to a beaded soft-tiered bow.
Attached cathedral train; the "pineapple" inset pattern is repeated twice down the train, and is offset with the beaded appliques (same as front). Hem is edged in alencon lace. Orig. $319.
